JD Edwards Functional Analyst
The incumbent will travel to multiple client locations (e.g., Australia, Germany, and Thailand) and utilize his/her JDE functional expertise to learn and familiarize with the client’s JDE applications. The person will cascade this working knowledge to Accenture counterparts in India, to enable them to provide the client with JDE application support in the long term.
On this role, the JDE Functional Analyst is expected to:
* Interface with the client’s business users and IT personnel to understand and document how they are using the JDE applications, and to understand and document their support requirements with respect to the JDE applications
* Relay the knowledge acquired (from interaction with the clients) to Accenture counterparts in India, to enable them to eventually provide JDE application support on their own (i.e., without Accenture Manila’s involvement)
* Assess the readiness of Indian counterparts to provide JDE application support independently
* Report progress (plans, accomplishments, issues) to management on a regular basis throughout the project duration
REQUIREMENTS:
* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in the field of Information Technology or equivalent
* At least (2) years of hands-on experience with the following module/s:
o JDE World – Sales and Distribution
o JDE World – Procurement
o JDE World – Finance
