Qualifications:

Siebel Functional Specialists
Siebel Functional Specialist understands the Siebel Modules (functionalities, features, etc.) and how it will fit to certain processes for the Siebel implementation. A Siebel functional resource focus on the look and feel of the application and how automation will be applied. This skill is more on the end-user but he/she understands the processes that happen within Siebel including the modules/components that will be called. The resource has understanding of the Data Entities within Siebel and can articulate on the different Siebel out-of-the-box functionalities.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years experience in the following: Siebel Development and Programming.
- Extensive knowledge of various Siebel Modules (e.g. Siebel Sales, Siebel Marketing, Siebel Campaign Management, Siebel eCommunications, Siebel Call Center, Siebel PRMS, Partner Relationship Manager, Siebel Consumer Goods, Order Management, Sales Force Automation, Territory Management, Field Management, Siebel Opportunities, Siebel Universal Customer Master (UCM), Siebel eCustomer, Siebel CTI, Siebel Hospitality, Siebel Case Management).

Siebel Business Analyst
Siebel Business Analyst focuses on the understanding the different Siebel components and how they will be modified to fit into the requirements. Participating in the requirements definition phase. Leading requirement gathering sessions with user personnel. Coordinating, evaluating, and prioritizing strategies to satisfy user requirements including impacts on new/existing applications. Analyzing requirements and recommending resolutions to issues. Identifying organizational and technical implications of new business processes
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years experience in the following: Siebel Development and Programming.
- Exposure in ANALYSIS and DESIGN phase.
- Experience on the the latest Siebel Package (8.0, 8.1 or 8.X) is a plus.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Must be a college graduate.
* At least 1 year experience in the following: Siebel Administration, Architecture, Development and Programming.
* Exposure in Design & Build (e.g. modifying of applets, business service, business components, eScripts, workflows, etc.).

* Must have deep understanding of Siebel Analytics and Hyperion.

Mainframe Network Systems Engineer
The candidate is expected to incorporate skills which support the programming, management and maintenance services required to implement and support new installations or maintain and improve existing legacy systems for our clients.

* Prepare plans, in consultation with the z/OS systems programmers to keep the VTAM specifications and TCP/IP definitions up to date.
* Ensure that changes are made based on established procedures and change ITIL based management.

* Carry out troubleshooting and network debugging using industry best practices for any problem found in the operation of mainframe network.
* Participate in any problem determination activities that may not directly be due to VTAM or TCP/IP in the mainframe but is likely to involve or impact the network.
* Follow appropriate procedures invoking change management to make proper changes to resolve the problem. If the problem cannot be determined, or if it is determined but cannot be fixed then follow established procedures to open a ticket with the appropriate software vendor. Follow up with the vendor until the problem is resolved.

Accenture Manila has announced that the Philippine office has to lay off more than 500 employees in different divisions (mostly Solutions).
It appears that Accenture has over-hired workers for projects that have been canceled, discontinued or put on hold. The news came in the morning of January 15, 2009 where employees were asked to report to the Manila office in batches only to be presented with a severance package and walking papers.
Accenture has over 16,000 employees in the Philippines and is expected to lay off several more people.
