Accounting Clerk
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Perform data entry to general ledger or auxiliary ledgers
* Preparation of financial and government reports
* Maintain and update department filing systems
* Provide administrative support and assistance for Accounting department projects and initiatives.
* Assist with the preparation of bank deposits and track general department correspondence delivery.
* Knowledge, understanding, and compliance with NCO policies and procedures.
* Knowledge, understanding, and compliance with all Federal and Local laws and regulations, relating to job duties.
* Maintain knowledge of functional area and company policies and procedures.
* Provide feedback to accountants concerning possible problems or areas of improvement.
* Make recommendations to implement improved processes.
* Perform other duties as assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in work experience.
* MS Excel proficient
* Knowledge in government reporting and financial report preparation
* SAP experience an advantage
* Previous clerical experience preferred.
* Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
* Ability to complete work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
* Ability to work in a team fostered environment.
* Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment.
* Ability to prioritize and organize work.
* At least with 1 year working experience
* Open to a project-based employment
