Technical Support Specialist

Responsibilities:
Technical Support Specialists
BASIC FUNCTION
Provides technical support to clients via direct client interaction and remote access. Technical analyst would be primarily focused on troubleshooting and problem solving the infrastructure (Servers, Network, Hardware, etc).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responds to requests for assistance from both Internal / External Clients who are experiencing problems with supported operating system and/or hardware
Serve as main link between the customers and the data center operations team.
Troubleshoots problems with client-supported and non-supported products
Makes decisions on escalation and on-site assistance for any technical issue
Assists other TSS analysts in problem resolution sessions
Documents problem resolutions for reference by team members and clients
Provides solutions to proactively reduce help desk calls
Develops ideas to streamline processes
Coordinates with other internal groups on key projects and initiatives that impact the TSS organization
Provides training initiatives to Technical Support Staff based on new and existing technologies
Assist with call queue management
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Business or other relevant combination of training and experience
• Familiarity with Healthcare IT solutions and Medical office environments
Proven troubleshooting skills
Strong experience in technical support or help desk related services
Strong knowledge of MS Windows platform (OS, Exchange, Outlook, Office, etc)
Good network and TCP/IP knowledge
PC peripheral device experience (scanners, printers, medical devices, etc.)
Basic scripting skills a plus
Mid to High level technical certifications and/or training required (Microsoft, Cisco, Citrix, other)
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Able to work as a member of a team
Strong customer service skills
Strong problem solving skills
Solid logic and organizational skills
Good written and oral communication skills in the English language
Strong inter-personal skills, specifically dealing with USA healthcare customers
Requirements:
* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree , Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
* At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
* Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer – Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent.
