ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SPECIALIST

Responsibilities:

* Contact new clients within 1 week of first invoice.
* Confirm invoice receipt; confirm contact and billing address, email & phone.
* Review payment terms, payment method, and remittance address or ACH details.
* Provide W-9 and vendor information sheet if needed.
* Resend any invoices that are not received via email/fax or flag and/or escalate if invoice needs to be resent via mail.
* Contact clients to follow-up past due amounts.
* Each past due account to be contacted via phone 1x per week.
* Customer contacts must conform to standard practices:  professional, courteous, and non-threatening.
* Post all customer contacts to AR system including contact type, date, method (phone, email), and details of exchange.
* Flag follow up task and follow-up date.
* Flag and/or escalate any invoicing errors identified.
* Flag and/or escalate uncollectible accounts.
* Flag and/or escalate any customer complaints.

Requirements:

* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree , Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Marketing or equivalent.
* Excellent English oral, comprehension and reading skills.
* Must be proactive, motivated, detail-oriented, a team player and knows how to work with Service Level Agreements (SLA) and metrics.
* Must be highly organized and with excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to prioritize activities effectively,
* Computer and internet proficient.
* At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
* Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Finance – General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
