Technical Support Analyst
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Meets objectives set by the Support Manager
* Provides good quality customer service
* Adds information to the knowledge center
* Focuses on learning the advanced areas of the product
* Submits entries to the knowledgebase regularly
* Primarily communicates with immediate Deltek and client peers, project management team, and Deltek and client management
* Provides support for customer inquiries received via the telephone and internet
* Records detailed notes
* Determines the appropriate support person to whom to route the call for the most complex issues
* Takes initiative and is proactive in working client issues
* Demonstrates application of acquired knowledge and adds draft articles to knowledge base
REQUIREMENTS:
* Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Business, Accounting or related discipline or a technical diploma/certification in computer programming or database administration
* Intermediate Database Server Knowledge (Oracle and SQL 2005/2008 preferred)
* Intermediate Microsoft Software Knowledge
* Intermediate IIS and WAN/LAN Security Knowledge
* Advanced Troubleshooting Skills
* Intermediate to Advanced Customer Service Skills
