The most qualified candidate will be creating websites, landing pages, emails, and banner ads, based on product specification documents which typically contain nothing more than simple wireframes, and text descriptions. Candidates should have a strong understanding of established web design and online marketing principles and best practices. The most qualified candidate will be able to translate photoshop mockups provided by a designer into working D/XHTML, CSS, Javascript (where necessary), and combine clean, documented, standards-compliant code into our existing properties. The role will entail coding unique websites, landing pages, and emails built for servers running PHP, Smarty, and XML, and should have an basic understanding of how those languages work. Candidates should have a strong understanding of established web-standards, particularly cross-browser compatibility issues and known fixes.
